The food was awsome and the rooms were extremely nice and comfortable...Thestaff at the Hilton Garden Inn are very accomodating and they go out of their way to make sure everyone is comfortable and satisfied...It was such a joyous weekend! Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone...
The Hilton Garden Inn Sacramento held our customer appreciation luncheon today with about 25 of our local customers.
The afternoon was spent with many many friends, catching up, meeting new friends, winning prizes and eating an amazing assortment of Irish Dishes made by our Chef "Matt Dumlao". . . another fine meal and we thank you so much, you out did yourself again.
Special thanks to the following hotel staff: Kelly Sanford, Jennifer Hank, Christina Mendoza, and our wonderful banquet staff for helping the hotel host such a great event.

Great Place to Dine!
Did you know that we at the Hilton Garden Inn are just 10 minutes away from Sacramento’s Downtown area? They have so many great things to see and places to eat! One of my favorite restaurants is Paesanos; it is a cute Italian restaurant in the heart of Downtown. The intimate atmosphere and trendy décor make you feel at home. On a day or evening when the weather is particularly nice I like to sit out on the patio. The staff is personable and prompt and the food is wonderful. The last time I was there with a group of friends the place was packed. Our waitress was great at getting our drinks and food to us in a timely manner you would have never guessed they were busy. The pizzas are some of their most popular items but I go for the pasta! Everything is well priced and yummy. You can’t go wrong with anything you chose.

Local Restaurants
As a manager’s outing we went as a group and tried the new restaurant Pearl on the River. I had high expectations due to the restaurant that was there before named The Blue Gecko, which I really enjoyed! So if you’re replacing a good restaurant I’d hoped they’d do as good of a job or better. I’d say The Pearl on the River, a 5 minute drive from us Hilton Garden Inn, did a good job filling in the shoes of the Blue Gecko.
There were 8 of us and out of the 8 of us we tried 5 different meals from the menu. Everyone said their meals were good and all of the presentations were visually pleasing. Next we sampled the dessert. Although the choice to have desert was a tough one due to everyone being full (and several others being on diets… we all know how THAT goes ha-ha) the temptation eventually won out and we ordered 3 desserts that we all shared. The desserts were also very scrumptious and although we felt guilty for having them we all had excuses why we did! So you know they had to be good. Lol! So the next time you are in Sacramento and want a nice restaurant to enjoy a good meal I would recommend The Pearl on the River with a view of the American River!
